WINDOW FILM GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Drying Time: Your New window film will take 2 – 3 days before you can roll or clean your windows. It will take 3 – 4 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions

Black Dotted Edges: Most cars have a black ceramic edge on the side and rear windows. Sometimes these ceramic edges are straight and flat, sometimes it will have a dotted edge. These black ceramic dots are quite thick on most cars and prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots. This results in a whitish looking strip trimming the glass. Unfortunately, the effect is unavoidable.

Film, Badge, & Decal Removal: Film, badge, and decal removal may cause the paint to be damaged. By authorizing Fantastic Customs to proceed with removal, the client hereby acknowledges the risk, waives any claims against Fantastic Customs and agrees that Fantastic Customs will not be liable in the event that damage does occur during the removal process.

Imperfections: Though we strive for perfection in our installations, due to the nature of the product, some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every window film application, also pre-existing flaws or scratches and metal deposits on the glass are often much more noticeable after the window are tinted. Older vehicles will have more imperfections due to its age.

Windshield Film Installation: There will be minor imperfections present in every windshield installation. It will be easier to see due to the film being installed on the front windshield.  Do not apply any decals, or windshield accessories on the windshield for 7 days. There is no refund and warranty coverage on rainbow effects due to wearing polarized sunglasses. Tesla Model X windshields should expect some minor visible distortion in the film once it is applied to the glass. This is unfortunately unavoidable due to the size and shape of the glass on the Tesla Model X

Replacement: If for any reason you are not happy with the darkness that was selected when you purchased your window film from us we will replace it to your desired darkness at a discounted cost at our discretion. Please take the time to make sure that you select the VLT that you will be happy with so as not to incur any additional costs for removal and replacement of a darker/lighter shade.

Florida Law: Florida law requires the driver and passenger front side window to meter at 28% VLT and 15% (6% on SUV and Vans) on the rear windows. Florida law allows a clear (un-tinted) UV film to be installed on front windshields. Customers installing VLT not approved by Florida law  release Fantastic Customs from all liability.

Restricted Colors: Florida does not permit any colored tint.

Medical Exceptions: Florida allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.

CERAMIC COATING GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

The client hereby acknowledges the risk involved in receiving the vehicle before the 3 days drying time. Fantastic Customs will not be liable in the event that damage does occur.

Condition of vehicle for Ceramic Coating It is recommended that all new or used vehicles have paint correction done before being coated. The client acknowledges that ceramic coating on uncorrected areas will be less effective than paint corrected areas. By waiving this additional service, the client understands that the coating will be less effective on areas that have not been paint corrected.

Film, Badge, & Decal Removal Film, badge, and decal removal may cause the paint to be damaged. By authorizing Fantastic Customs to proceed with removal, the client hereby acknowledges the risk, waives any claims against Fantastic Customs, and agrees that Fantastic Customs will not be liable in the event that damage does occur during the removal process.

Paint Correction Paint correction will remove most light scratches, swirls, marring, and minor marks on the vehicle’s clear coat. Client understands that even though we strive for perfection, some degree of scratching, swirls, and minor marks are present after the paint correction process.

Wet Sanding Wet sanding is used to remove the top layer of a vehicle’s clear coat. Because of the risks associated with wet sanding, Fantastic Customs only uses this technique when there are only 2 options for the affected area: wet sand or repaint. Therefore, Fantastic Customs assumes no responsibility for repair to the affected area should wet sanding cause additional damage. It is highly recommended that after a vehicle has been wet sanded, that Ceramic Coating be applied after to replenish the clear coat to the vehicle’s paint.

Ceramic Coating is tested to be above 9H hardness. I understand that the coating is scratch resistant and not scratch proof. It is recommended that vehicles get paint protection film (clear bra) on bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors before coating to prevent from rock chips.

Ceramic Ceramic is a durable hydrophobic glass coating. I understand that the coating is not a scratch resistant coating.

Ceramic Rain Due to the amount of rain in the SW-FLorida area, wipers will be used more often affecting the prolongation of protection. I understand that weather conditions will affect the degree and time of protection.

Ceramic Interior If any liquid or substance gets on the upholstery, it is advised to clean it up as soon as possible to prevent stains from occurring. I understand that the longer the substance remains on the upholstery, staining may occur.

Ceramic Wheel If any brake dust or road debris is on wheels and calipers, it is advised to clean it up as soon as possible to prevent stains from occurring. I understand that the longer the substance stays on, staining may occur on wheels and calipers. The client is responsible for re-torquing the wheels to vehicle manufacturer torque specifications.

Annual Inspections Annual Inspections are the recommended process for ensuring the coating is maintained and care for the vehicle is properly executed. There is a cost for annual inspections ($299.99) and includes: hand wash, decontamination & Ceramic coating applied to vehicle’s exterior. The Annual inspection is required to maintain the warranty on the coating. Failure to maintain the coating will result in the warranty being 50% of the original warranty from the date of the last service.

Photo Release Authorization Permission I agree that Fantastic Customs may use such photographs of me and my property with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.  • Not responsible for losses or damage to vehicles or articles left in vehicle in case of fire, theft, or any other causes beyond our control.

CERAMIC COATING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE/INSPECTION

CLEAR BRA/VINYL WRAP REMOVAL DISCLAIMER/LIABILITY RELEASE

Removal of a clear bra/vinyl wrap has inherent risks. The biggest of those risks is that paint may lift up due to aged adhesive, or weak bond of paint underneath. Because we have no way to know the condition of the paint underneath the clear bra we cannot be responsible for paint lifting, clear coat damage, scratches, discoloration or any other paint defect that is either caused during the removal process or that was present but not visible prior to removal.

We take every precaution to minimize these risks including:

  • Heating the panel with a steamer

  • Applying hot water prior to removal

  • Using a heat gun when necessary

  • Using plastic razor blades when necessary

  • Using paint safe solvent when necessary

By Signing this document I acknowledge that Fantastic Customs will take every precaution necessary to mitigate the above risks but I do not hold them responsible for any pre existing damage or damage caused by the removal of the clear bra/vinyl wrap.

Additionally, I agree that Fantastic Customs will charge an hourly rate of $150 per hour to remove film and cannot provide a 100% accurate estimate prior to completion of the project.

WET SANDING/PAINT RESTORATION DISCLAIMER/LIABILITY RELEASE

Benefits of wet sanding and paint restoration:

Wet sanding and paint restoration can be used for two reasons. The most common is to remove damage from a vehicle’s paint. Typically this damage is scratching, swirling, marring or blemishes caused by bird feces, tree sap or other organic material. Wet sanding can also be used to make factory OEM or aftermarket paint appear better by removing orange peel or haze. Compared to repainting, wet sanding is a much more cost effective way to correct the appearance of your existing paint. Additionally, wet sanding keeps your factory paint intact. In most cases factory paint will outlast aftermarket paint as well as have a superior appearance.

Risks of wet sanding and paint restoration:

Wet sanding removes the top layer of the clear coat. All paint jobs are different and all defects are unique. The potential risks of wet sanding are:

  • The damage may lay beneath the layer of clear coat that can be removed.

  • The damage to the paint may have caused the paint to be brittle which could then cause an appearance of further damage during the correction steps.

  • Previous work performed on the vehicle may have weakened some areas on the paint.

These and other variables bring the potential for burning or cutting too much of the clear coat.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMS RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

Because of the risks associated with wet sanding, Fantastic Customs only uses this technique when there are only two options for the affected area: Wet sand or repaint.

Therefore, Fantastic Customs assumes no responsibility for the repair to the affected area should wet sanding not improve the damage, and or cause additional damage.

After the completion of wet sanding Fantastic Customs highly encourages the application of Ceramic 9H. Ceramic will permanently replenish some of the clear coat that was removed during the restoration process.
